Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, indoor plants must meet the following conditions:
- Return request must be initiated within 7 days of delivery
- Plants must be in their original condition and packaging when possible
- Plants must show signs of damage or health issues that existed at the time of delivery
- You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Damaged or Unhealthy Plants
If you receive indoor plants that are damaged, unhealthy, or significantly different from what was ordered:

- Provide photos of the damaged or unhealthy plants
- Include your order number and delivery date
- We will arrange for a replacement or full refund
Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact our customer service team via email or phone
- Provide your order number and reason for return

- Package the plants securely for return shipping
- Ship the plants back using the provided return label or instructions
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are handled as follows:
- If plants are damaged, defective, or incorrect: We cover return shipping costs
- If you change your mind: You are responsible for return shipping costs
- We recommend using tracked shipping for returns
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Refunds
Refunds will be processed as follows:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Processing time: 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect returned plants
- Refund amount includes the purchase price of returned plants
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Exchanges
We offer exchanges for different plant varieties or sizes, subject to availability. To request an exchange:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Specify the plant you wish to exchange and your preferred alternative
- We will confirm availability and arrange the exchange
- Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Plants that have been significantly damaged due to improper care after delivery
- Custom or special order plants that were specifically selected for you
- Plants returned more than 7 days after delivery
- Plants that cannot be verified as purchased from Originaluoboutiq
Plant Health After Delivery
Please note that:
- Plants are living organisms and may experience stress during shipping
- Some leaf drop or minor wilting immediately after delivery is normal
- We provide care instructions to help plants recover from shipping stress
- Returns due to plant health issues that develop after proper acclimation period may not be eligible
Australian Consumer Law
This return policy does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If you have a major problem with your purchase, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund under consumer law, regardless of the terms stated here.
